Good condition.  As with all handcrafted clay pottery, there is some inconsistent glazing, textures, and designs. There are marks/blemishes/scuffs and very fine surface scratches. Marks/scuffs/design blemishes on the bottom of the base.  Artist has signed the underside of the bird. The exact age is unknown. Pictures are of the actual item.
