In the city where I reside there is a large juried art show in the summer which features only the best artists and craft persons.  Last year an artist showed these beautiful hand dyed silk lamp shades in colors and patterns which were simply stunning.  Once you waited to get into his very crowed booth you then had to choose which shade you found most beautiful.  As I love blues I selected this one only to discover it would not fit the lamp I had which was missing a shade.  I was very tempted to purchase a base to go with it but I have downsized and already had too many lamps, many of which are not in use.  I am listing the shade at my cost.<br>The shade was photographed with lights overhead.  It does have a different look when lit from within from when it is in place with the light off.  Both ways are equally lovely. The shade is approximately 11 1/2" tall.  The diameter at the top is approximately 8 1/2" across.  It is    inches in diameter at the bottom.<br>As the shade is fragile it has to be shipped in a large box with lots of protection around it.  I removed the plastic which was wrapped around it in order to take photos but I will place it in a plastic bag before boxing to ship.<br>Please ask questions before you bid.<br>THANKS<br>
